We are a large enthusiastic hard-working amateur choir with a reputation for staging excellent concerts with high quality professional orchestras and soloists. We perform two major concerts each season, a Christmas carol concert with a local children’s choir, and a summer concert featuring a lighter selection of choral music.
We have vacancies in all voice parts, but particularly in the alto, tenor and bass sections.
Rehearsals take place in the School Hall of The Emmbrook School, Emmbrook Road, Wokingham RG41 1JP from 7.30pm to 9.45pm each Thursday.
You are welcome to sit in on one or two rehearsals at any time before making any decisions.
We are particularly keen to encourage young singers, and so we are offering bursaries to sixth form students and a substantially reduced subscription to anyone who is 25 years old and under. This is a brilliant opportunity to experience the awesome feeling of singing with a choir of 110 mixed voices. You can all be assured of a welcome and support from fellow members
