If you hear the Hallelujah Chorus or O Fortuna
and think "I wish I could do that!" Emmbrook on a
Thursday evening is the place to be. If you haven't sung for a
while but know you like choral music, make 2009 the year you
start enjoying your singing again.
WCS is a large, dedicated amateur choir with a reputation for
staging excellent concerts under our outstanding Musical
Director, Alexander Chaplin. We regularly attract the services
of soloists and orchestral players of international standing.
We like to support young singers, and those 25 and under are
offered a substantially reduced subscription.
Singers still attending secondary school may apply for free
one year bursaries.
We currently have opportunities for sopranos, altos and
especially tenors and basses.
Please feel free to come and sit in at one or two rehearsals
before you make any decisions. Choir practices are held from
7.45 to 9.45 pm at Emmbrook School
