A big welcome to current and new Friends and Corporate Sponsors!

The contribution made to Wokingham Choral Society by our Friends and Corporate Sponsors is valued very highly. In return we try to provide closer contact with the Society and special benefits to reward their support. For the 2008-9 season we are maintaining the minimum contributions to join the "Friends" and "Corporate Sponsor" schemes.

Friends and Gold Friends

The “Friends” scheme is intended primarily for individuals who would like to support the Society in putting on a varied programme of major choral works and lighter concerts, and would like to stay in touch with the Society's activities between concerts. We have two categories of "Friends" and details are in the following table.

Minimum of £20 per annum.

We ask that this be Gift-aided if you are a UK tax payer.

Season ticket discount for Friend of at least 15% (offer open until Autumn concert)

Invitations to join choir members on any extra concert /social trips arranged during the term if an e-mail address is provided (these can be at short notice so not feasible by letter)

Summer Notes with choir news and AGM reports, plus programme for the coming season

Friends' Newsletters each term with Society news, invitations to planned social and open choral events

Personal invitation to attend each Concert

Acknowledgement in programmes (you can opt out if you so wish)

Gold Friends

Minimum of £75 per annum.

We ask that this be Gift-aided if you are a UK tax payer.

£3 discount on each of 2 top price tickets/ concert for Autumn and Spring concerts

Monthly Standing Order payment option if you contribute £120 or more

Season ticket discount for Gold Friend of at least 20% (offer open until Autumn concert)

Corporate Sponsor

During the 2007-8 season we introduced a Corporate Sponsor category to welcome businesses (large or small) that would like to be associated with the high standards of Wokingham Choral Society. Additional Corporate Sponsors would be most welcome in the 2008-9 season. Details of the Corporate Sponsor package are as follows:

Free half page advertisement (of your design) in Autumn, Spring and Summer programmes

This incentive is worth at least £150

Free tickets for Autumn and Spring concerts. Choose between:
2 top price tickets/concert    OR
6 tickets/concert each with a £5 corporate discount

Treat yourself and partner/friend, or your staff or customers, as you wish for each concert

Acknowledgement in programmes

In addition to free advertisement as above
