A warm welcome awaits at WCS!
For over 70 years, our friendly, hard-working choir has enjoyed singing and performing together.
We pride ourselves on our welcoming ethos and our wish to make good music accessible and enjoyable for everyone. We offer our local community affordable high-quality concerts and introduce music to new audiences.
Our two major concerts each year feature great works from the classical repertoire, as well as lesser-known pieces, performed alongside professional soloists and orchestras. We also sing a family Christmas concert and a Summer concert of lighter music.
We present fundraising concerts for national charities, and support local charities through regular fundraising for the Wokingham Major’s charity and for our chosen local charity, selected by the choir members each year.
We also run regular ‘Come & Sing’ workshops, organise tours to perform at inspiring venues, and collaborate with other local choirs and schools.
WCS is an auditioned choir, renowned for the high standard of our classical choral singing and expertly led by our talented professional musicians:
